A NEW ultra high strength cementitious mortar capable of achieving a compressive strength in excess of 100 N/mmÓ has been launched by TECROC Products.
Believed to be the strongest product of its type available in the UK, TECROC CN Mortar has been formulated for situations where there is a need to support high loadings in small or confined areas where the support area cannot be enlarged to "spread" the load.
It meets the need for a fast-setting ultra high strength mortar in situations such as supporting plates, rails or bridge bearings required to support high loads. Unlike epoxy mortars that are frequently used in these situations, TECROC CN Mortar does not require fireproofing.
Requiring only the addition of water, TECROC CN Mortar is a single component mix with a working time of approximately 30 minutes at 20¼C. IC. It is chloride-free, allowing it to be used safely in contact with steel components and fixings.
It typically achieves a compressive strength of 64N/mmÓ at one day, rising to 92 N/mmÓ at seven days and 105N/mmÓ at 28 days.
TECROC CN Mortar is factory blended under ISO 9002 approved Quality Systems to ensure consistency in performance. The mortar is available in 25 kg bags.
